Acting Together
What agency do we have to stop the killing and destruction of people’s lives and communities?
How do we maintain pressure for peace and not run out of steam?
Using verbatim accounts, autobiography and story Acting Together will take us on an exciting and powerful journey whilst enquiring into these questions.
Acting Together will reflect on the ongoing conflict in Gaza and the occupied West Bank, asking, what is our role as the international community?
Acting Together is a new piece of work inspired by Ava Hunt’s Acting Alone. Adrian Jackson MBE, writer/director, set up and ran Cardboard Citizens over 30 years ago, translated Augusto Boal’s Theatre of the Oppressed books and works internationally delivering Forum Theatre training.
Adrian and Ava will perform, and experiment with ideas around participation, to provoke and ignite new possibilities…
We invite audiences to bring a friend/someone who is unsure, who doesn’t agree, who questions, who is new to the debate to attend. We look forward to meeting you.
